New Shoes

I love shoes, especially new ones, more than any other material objects. I can't wait til the terrible rain/snow mixture stops and I can walk outside without rubber boots on, when I don't have to leave extra room in my bag because I have to switch shoes once I get to work. I want the salt that is scattered all over Chicago to disappear and stop ruining everything it touches! Until then I will just stare dreamily at these awaiting better weather....

My new boots!

I have been looking everywhere for the perfect platform/wedge boot. I love platforms - they're easier to walk in than normal heels and a little more casual. I've been looking for both ankle boots (see previous Jeffrey Campbell post) and knee high boots.

I watched Love Happens last week and fell in love with the boots she wore in the beginning of the movie.
Of course they're Yves Saint Laurent, sold out, and way outside my budget.

But then I found these on Ebay and my dreams came true! I can't wait for them to come in the mail!
